Let's Get Philosophical! I'm Quoting Seth Godin This Week... And You Should Too!Seth Godin Quotes Entrepreneurs Can Learn From! - The Profit Goddess Rainbow Logo Image

For the last few weeks, I've been sharing quotes of things that I said in my book. Not just because I love the idea of someone quoting me — though who doesn't kinda love the idea of that? — but because I said a lot of useful stuff in there that was worth repeating. I wrote my book after I'd gone through the tedious, yet very helpful process of figuring out exactly how I spent my time and money... and how to run my business better once I had that information. My whole crazy, detailed approach is laid out in a pretty honest way. So, lately I've been sharing tidbits from that process. This week, however, I'm giving it over to Seth Godin, a god among marketers. He has started businesses, written tons of books (18!), and is a prolific blogger and renowned idea generator. Kinda makes you ask yourself "What's my excuse for not getting stuff done?!" So I bring you these Seth Godin quotes not to make you feel like a slacker — because seriously, I already feel like one after thinking about everything he's done! — but to share wisdom and insights from someone I admire.

Be Oh So Quotable This Week!

Maybe you'll find a way to work these Seth Godin quotes into a conversation this week. Think how deep you'll sound when you come out with a doozie like, "Dig your well before you're thirsty." You'll sound even more profound if you finish it with a long pause so people can ponder the thought. Anyway, I always say running a business means the work never ends! Ain't that the truth? I bet your to-do list is a mile long! Make sure that the items at the top of your list are the things that relate to being more profitable. Everyone is so proud of being so "busy"...But Are You Making Any Money? Don't be too busy to focus!
