Improving Your Business Is A Process, Not A Quick Fix!
Are you thinking you'd like to make a few changes to how you run your business? Feel more organized, more on top of your finances? Have time to focus more on the big picture? These are great goals. And the good news for you? So not a problem! Doing a little business improvement is like self-improvement. You have to take time to think about how you do things, be critical, be open to change and willing to adopt some new habits, Oh, the fun of it all! Nothing says good times like trying to break old habits. Like when I tried to trade my morning donut for kale shakes. Um, yeah. That didn't last long. But then I switched to fruit and I was able to deal. It's the same in business. Sometimes your first fix doesn't quite do it. So you try something else till you find what works.
Some of the tips I'm sharing this week can help you on your path to business improvement and entrepreneurship enlightenment. To master a new skill or tackle a big project, work on it every day, and little by little you'll get there. Be prepared to establish new patterns. Track everything you do in detail: how you spend money, how and where you spend your time. Once you do that tracking, review the information regularly to look for patterns. And most important... figure out how to re-pattern if you don't like what you see. This is the best way to set up your business for success.
