What's one thing you would tell your 13 year old self from your current perspective and why?
Always dream bigger and develop an appetite for the spectacular and never settle for the crumbs of the ordinary.
?What's one thing people would be super surprised to know about you?
I really like my space and go to the movies to decompress.
What's your favorite color?
Blue
What would you want for your very last meal?
Apple Pie, fried catfish, collard greens, potato salad, green beans, red velvet cake, carrot cake, jerk chicken with rice and peas.
?What book would you recommend and why?
New Tycoons by Jason Kelly. It explains how and why private equity owns more 50% of the companies in America and why the stock market is a poor man’s investment strategy. The real money is in private equity, hedge funds, and venture capital.
List your top 3 business tips.
1. Customer Service is a department. Customer Love is a mindset.
2. Stop selling and start connecting. When you sell that is a transaction. When you connect, that is a relationship.
3. The fortune is in the follow-up.
