2 Ways To Determine Your Key Numbers
We've been diving into the topic of measuring key numbers for a few weeks now, and I have two easy steps for you to take this week: First, set benchmarks by comparing your key metrics to either your competition or your own personal goals. This will help you track progress. Second, write out your goals—after all, you can’t hit a target you can’t see! Start small, monitor your progress, and you’ll see results with minimal effort. Give it a try and let me know how it goes. And don’t forget to share this with a friend! xo
We've been covering the topic of measuring for a few weeks now, and I have 2 ways for you to get out there and do a bit more work on determining your key numbers.
If you take this lesson in small steps each week, you'll see a significant improvement with only little effort:
- Come up with the appropriate benchmarks. You want to take these key metrics and compare them to other data that’s out there – maybe how your biggest competitor ranks or just your own personal goal. The comparison is how you’ll know whether or not you’re making progress.
- Write out your goals. We all know that you can’t hit a target you can’t see. Shocker! So write out exactly what you’re trying to achieve and where you are right now. For example, I currently have around 14k Twitter followers but I’m obsessed with getting to 100k. I’ve now sent that out to the universe and need to monitor my progress. (Subtle hint: Follow @thepartygoddess if you’re not already.) Try these 2 things and see what comes of it all. I promise it isn't painful.
So what do you think? Give me your comments and feedback below. And, oh, by the way, don't forget to tell a friend if you like what you see! xo
