Be Your Own Best Cheerleader!
"You can do it, yes you can! If you can't do it, no one can!" I have no idea if that's how that cheer is supposed to go, but who cares! I'm in a rah-rah mood this week so I'm going with it. In my business, things tend to slow down in late summer. It's the hot weather, we've-already-attended-like-12-weddings, let's-go-away-on-vacay slump. And I get it; people need a break in summer and now's their last chance. So the event-planning business is quiet. And when business is slow — even if there's tons of upcoming work already scheduled — it's easy to start panicking. Or doubting your success, or even worse, your ability (no, not that!). So while I'm reminding myself to be positive and not be bothered by an expected seasonal slow-down, I'll take the opportunity to share some positive thoughts and remind you to believe in yourself. Sometimes, faith in yourself and your ability is the only thing that will keep you going when things get tough! Or slow.
